The Hoxne Swan Beer Festival , 23 May 2008 to 26 May 2008, 12:00 to 23:00 at The Swan Inn, Hoxne (4.7 miles away)
One of Suffolk’s best-known pubs has today announced details of its annual Spring Beer Festival.
Owners of The Swan Inn, Low Street, Hoxne are preparing for the beer festival which runs across the May Bank Holiday weekend (23rd-26th).
Over the course of the weekend a number of real ales will be available to try, all served via handpump from award winning breweries such as Wyre Piddle, Hambleton, Bradfield and Grindleton, along with many others.
Landlord David Rye, along with his wife Jo-Ann said, "We hope the customers enjoy the beer on offer as it gives them the chance to try real ales that are not normally seen in Suffolk."
On Friday 23rd the Festival will kick off with live music from local band Coyote Wrecks. Band member Paddy Stratton has worked with the likes of Ginger Baker and is a long time collaborator with The Levellers. Music starts at 8.30pm.
The festival will also feature an Open Mic/Busking Night (Sunday), which is open to all, and live music from Suffolk Samba Band, Samboomba (Monday).
For more information on the festival please call The Hoxne Swan on 01379 668275.
